Beck Institute CBT Certification

We are proud to announce that we have brought the most prestigious Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) certification to Greece—the Beck Institute Certification.

It is with great honor that we officially announce our collaboration with the world-renowned Beck Institute.

The Beck Institute’s CBT certification program, rightfully considered the gold standard and the very source of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, is the most important certification in CBT globally, recognized worldwide.

The Beck Institute, founded by the father of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Professor A.T. Beck (1921-2021), is where the most comprehensive CBT model was created and established. CBT has now been proven to be the most effective psychotherapy for most mental disorders.

From now on, our educational program will lead to official certification from the Beck Institute. Our courses, teaching methods, and examination procedures have, from the start, adhered to the high standards set by the Beck Institute.

Trainee psychologists, psychiatrists, and other mental health professionals who successfully complete both the first and second cycles of our CBT educational program and complete their clinical practice will have the opportunity to pursue certification from the Beck Institute. This process will be supported by our educational program and supervised by Dr. Malliaris*. Candidates will be directly assessed by a clinical supervisor from the Beck Institute, and upon passing the exams, they will receive the Beck Institute Certification.

There is limited availability in the Beck Institute certification program for a select number of experienced CBT therapists, subject to agreement with our program.

*Dr. Yanni Malliaris, the scientific director and creator of the BipolarLab.com educational program, is the first Greek psychologist to receive Beck Institute certification in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, both as a therapist and as a trainer.
