BipolarLab Announces New Job Opening for a Psychologist as Part of the "Integrated Action for Training and Employment of Unemployed Individuals 25-45" Programme by the Greek government and EU.


BipolarLab, a specialized center for the treatment of mood disorders, announces the commencement of the recruitment process for a new psychologist position as part of the "Integrated Action for Training and Employment of Unemployed Individuals aged 25 to 45" programme.

Job Description:

The psychologist will be responsible supporting our expansion plans and for providing psychological support and therapy to individuals with bipolar disorder and other mood disorders, as well as participating in BipolarLab's research programs and educational activities.

The main responsibilities include:

  • Support of all activities related to our expansion plans.
  • Conducting individual and group therapy sessions.
  • Collaborating with a team of clinical psychologists, psychiatrists and other health professionals.
  • Participating in research programmes and publications.
  • Providing educational seminars and workshops.

Required Qualifications:

  • Must meet the employment requirements of the 25 - 45 programme
  • Degree in Psychology and a valid license to practice in Greece and/or UK or US.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills (English and Greek).
  • Ability to work in a multidisciplinary team.

Desirable Qualifications:

  • Postgraduate degree in Clinical Psychology or a related field (CBT orientation)
  • Experience working with individuals with bipolar disorder or other mental health disorders.

Location: BipolarLab Glyfada Hub

The position is funded by the "Integrated Action for Training and Employment of Unemployed Individuals aged 25 to 45" programme, implemented within the framework of the National Recovery and Resilience Plan "Greece 2.0" with funding from the European Union – NextGenerationEU.

The initial duration of the position is 6 months, with the possibility of extension depending on performance.
